Hosea 4:4-6

4 Yet [a]let none rebuke, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that rebuke the Priest.
5 Therefore shalt thou fall in the [b]day, and the Prophet shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy [c]mother.
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because [d]thou hast refused knowledge, I will also refuse thee that thou shalt be no Priest to me: and seeing [e]thou hast forgotten the Law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

- Hosea 4:4 As though he would say that it were in vain to rebuke them: for no man can abide it: yea, they will speak against the prophets and priests whose office it is chiefly to rebuke them.
- Hosea 4:5 Ye shall perish all together the one because he would not obey, and the other, because he would not admonish.
